Recalibrating Netflix with their Promise
The Idea
We set out to refine and evolve two of Netflix's most recognisable core brand elements - their streams and typographic system - to more effectively encapsulate a new era of inspiring dynamism.
For their infamous streams - we were inspired by the essence of variety, and such explored the use of diverse colours and multiple streams to showcase the richness and vast offering of Netflix content.
We wanted the typographic framework to be scalable and showcase the versatility of their fonts. This allows for universal adoption across the entire company, covering all fonts and weights, and is crucial for maintaining a cohesive visual identity across various applications—from digital and out-of-home advertising to corporate communications and promotional swag.
The Outcome
By broadening the usage and diversifying the streams, we've created a more engaging and structurally sound framework that supports the brand's narrative across all media. The scalable typographic system enhances versatility and ensures consistent brand representation globally. These developments vividly bring to life the thrill and excitement of Netflix’s content universe, making every touchpoint a testament to Netflix's commitment to innovation and diversity in entertainment.
